About Me

My name is Jessica Nakawombe. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Down to earth and simple to relate with. Enjoy learning, teaching, being informed by the past, present so I may have a good future. Enjoy reading the Holy Bible as the compass to life in my thought life, words and actions.  I am an avid reader and seasoned and published writer.  I believe in the wholeness of life; physical, emotional, mental, cultural. political, social, psychological, financial and spiritual. I believe in cultural traditions, norms and mores that do not side step God as the Only One and Almighty. Culture gives identity of who we are as a people. In life we need to have roots where we are anchored. In life we need to have a solid foundation so when the negative winds of evil come blowing, we are not swayed away or toppled down. I enjoy music of different genres, as long as it is pleasing to my ears and it minsters to my soul, and captures my heart. God created music and praise to enjoy but in holiness that what does not contradict His holiness. I enjoy dancing. Dancing is a language that the body speaks with. It is a gift from God to enjoy life as long as it does not contradict His holiness. Dance is for praising. Dance that is pure and true was created in heaven. I speak, write and read fluently in Luganda, my language and English, my second. I speak, read and write French and Swahili. Language is a gift from God that we may sharpen as a skill. I am a woman "made in the image of God as a female" (Genesis 1:26-28). I am "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139).  I am happy to be alive.  "To God be the Glory, Great things He has done..."
