Why homosexuality is wrong

Why homosexuality is wrong
Rev. Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr., you have brought up many important issues that are usually not addressed. May God lift up more people who are not intimidated so easily to speak up for what is right. For we did not receive a spirit of fear, but of power.
2 Timothy 3.
Godlessness in the Last Days.
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.... 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—.5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth— men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Paul's Charge to Timothy.
10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,11 persecutions, sufferings— what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,13 while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Broken Link, The Missing Page, Error

Have you wondered about the broken link in your life? We are already blessed and in the Covenant of Abraham our father, quote.
Yet we find ourselves so much in want, in persistent poverty, chronic illnesses, ongoing sicknesses, constant unemployment, always lacking, always wanting, late by a day, short by a dollar.
24When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb.
25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.
26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skilful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents.
28 Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished.
30 He said to Jacob, Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I'm famished! (That is why he was also called Edom.)
31 Jacob replied, First sell me your birthright.
32 Look, I am about to die, Esau said. What good is the birthright to me?
33 But Jacob said, Swear to me first. So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25
If something unholy happened in your family, in your fathers'a house or your mother's house, then the blessing link is broken. It is missing. Whenever you try to click on it, it is not there. Results will come up - oops!!!! Link not found! Not Found! Error 404!
So that page in your life is missing!
You may be going through cyclical cycles of mishaps, one accident after another, firing after firing on jobs, mistreatment after mistreatment by others on jobs, by fellow employees, Bosses, housemates, neighbours, sudden deaths in your family, because the link is broken! You may pray so much, fasting at every opportunity, tithing, do good deeds, give to the needy, do not swear, have good speech, work hard, but all your results are problems after another. All the promises of God do not seem to be working in your own life. Yet you see others who don't do so much are thriving. The link is broken! The page is missing!

But do not lose hope. For the things revealed are ours, and those hidden are of God. quote.
You have to pray to God and repent on behalf of your Father, on behalf of your Mother, on behalf of your grandparents whatever they sinned by not following God's commands, decrees and laws. For God says that,
"approach the throne of mercy with boldness Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

I Am Blessed

The woman of God spoke to my heart yesterday. To declare, claim and receive my blessings. Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Deuteronomy+28&version=WYC

1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
7 The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
8 The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. 11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them."

My hands are blessed to receive my blessings. To open doors step into my blessings.
My feet are blessed to take me to my blessings.
My eyes are blessed to see my blessings.
My ears are opened to hear my blessings.
My heart is open to receive my blessings.
My thoughts are blessed to thrust me forward into my destiny.
My ideas are blessed to prosper me.

Thank you My Lord Jehovah Jireh, My Provider

Ascension Day 2011

Such religious days help us to focus on our Faith. If we don't have landmarks to remind us on our path to Heaven, we may easily lose our way and our focus in this wide road of the world. I remember preparing for Ascension Day Sermon for my first time. I pored over Scripture. Afterwards, I had a deeper understanding of Christ's Ascension to the Father.

Inspire us with all your wisdom, strength and love,
to rebuild the broken walls in our community.

(prayer text for 2007)
Lord God,
we give you thanks for sending your only Son to give us life.
In the midst of wealth we are crushed by poverty,
and while we are offered Christ-life in all its fullness,
we are surrounded by disease, death and destruction.
We are tempted to despair, and yet keep hoping,
knowing that you care.
At times we weep silent tears, and cry out with deep emotion.
We come to you, our only hope and refuge.
Thank you for the gift of laughter,
even when the going is tough.
With you, O Lord, we may be troubled but not destroyed.

Grasp Jabez's Prayer for Enlargement of Territory for Yourself

Jabez' Prayer
Ndi wafunda nnyo Mukama Katonda nga Yabezi bweyali. Omulabe anfunzizza mu buli ngeri yonna. Naye nga Yabezi bwe yakukabirira nakusaba Mukama Katonda wa Yisirayiri, nomuwulira, era nomuddamu. 1 Chronicles 4:10, we read:
"And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that Thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that Thine hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
The prayer is composed of four parts.
First, Jabez asks God to bless him.
Second, he asks God to enlarge his territory or increase his responsibility.
Third, he prays that God will be with him and stay close.
Lastly, Jabez asks that God keep him from harm so that he will be free from pain.

Maintaining a Pure Prophetic Flow With Prayer

Maintaining a Pure Prophetic Flow With Prayer

"Prophets obsessed by the fear of man or unholy desires will not fulfill God’s ultimate plan. We must be careful, then, not to prophesy according to the party line in order to establish and preserve popularity in ministry circuits. If we fall into this trap we find ourselves in danger of perverting the gift of God by building walls of religion.
True prophets are not always the most popular five-fold ministry gift on the block because they are bold enough to release a word of the Lord that deals with sin or that warns the local church of potentially unpleasant circumstances coming down the proverbial pike. In order to properly carry this mantle, genuine prophets must build towers of prayer."

Jennifer, you really have the prophetic calling upon you. I am glad that God still speaks even in our generations and calls His own to prophesy and prophecy. My spirit is just saying Amen to all your words. God bless you. I am going to distribute this. I am also glad that what God has put on my heart is confirmed with you. Sometimes people in the prophetic ministry sound like a  lone voices crying out in the wilderness. I will visit your site soon. God bless. And I am glad that you did not keep silent about it.

Jesus has Risen, He is not Here! Easter 2011

Wishing You All A Happy Easter 2011
Jesus Has Risen, He Is Not Here!
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!

Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” Then they remembered his words.
When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles.

But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened. (Luke 24:1-12) NIV 2011

Many times some people have dismissed the words of those who have seen Jesus in our days, who have a personal relationship with him as nonsense. When they look at some of the women or men who are telling them, that Jesus is risen, they see no substance in them. Sometimes they don't even drive flashy or fancy cars. Sometimes they don't even own houses. Sometimes they don't even have a regular job, or a prestigious one.  At times they don't follow the fashion of the day. In the days of Jesus, women were not listened to. They were discounted in almost everything. Women were not counted, only the household they lived in as belonging to their fathers or husbands. the women of Jesus' days had no property to their name. That was the culture in which Jesus grew in. That was the culture in which he preached, taught and perfomed miracles and wonders. Jesus had many followers and among them women but his disciples were men according to the culture. Yet God chose to tell the women first. And these women remembered His words.

At the Temple of worship, the women's place was in the Outer Court, where sometimes they could not even hear what was going on in the Inner Court. Perhaps when they went home, their fathers or brothers or husbands reported to or informed them.

Do not miss out on Jesus's Resurrection by discounting the wonderful and powerful message of the woman or man who brings it to you just because of popular culture, tradition, culture, society, class, education, status, ego, belief, just like the Eleven men apostles then. For you will definitely miss out on your soul and eternal life with God, our Creator when He calls us.
The message is still true today as it was then; He has risen from the dead, He is not here!

Oluyimba:
Omukwano Gwa Yesu

2. Byonna ebitalabika

Song:
On the Resurrection morning Jesus rose again,
Rose again triumphantly appeared again to people,
Angels standing by the tomb told them not to cry,
He is risen from the dead, He is not here!

Chorus: He is risen x3 from the dead.

Songs and Hymns Speak to the Heart and Soul

Song:
Hear my prayer, O Lord,
From the ends of the earth I cry.
Your love will lead me on.
To the rock that is higher than I.

For You are my refuge in times of trouble.
A tower over my enemies.
And Lord I want to be with You forever.
In the shadow of Your wings.

Oluyimba:

Welcome to 2011 - See I am Doing A New Thing

If you are reading this, then you should be thankful to God for the gift of life,
the different accidents you have survived,
the different sicknesses and lillnesses you have recovered from,
the different attacks in every form you have overcome,
the good food and joyful drinks you have enjoyed,
The different friends you have enjoyed
the wonderful families you have, that is our large, embracing and warm African families
the ability to be still speaking,
still walking on your feet, ableto use your hands,
able to call back to your ancestral home
a roof over your head,
many othe things
Even those we think that do not matter,
but they are the fulcrum that turns your/my wheel of life.

This is what the LORD says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
who drew out the chariots and horses,
the army and reinforcements together,
and they lay there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:

18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing! (2011)
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
Isaiah 43
Mukama abawe omukisa, abakuume, abaakize amaaso ge, abalage ekisa kye, era abawe emirembe. Amiina. Exodus 6:24-26

 Rev. Jessica Nakawombe
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.  And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
