What Is Holy Communion?

A man and a woman take off their clothes so as to have a communion. I am talking about a matrimonial communion where they have been married either by the law of the land in civil union, or the church. They get ready to become one. Indeed they come in a conjugal bond, in a sexual union. They become one in body, mind and soul. That's when you hear of a soul mate. They reach a climax and sexual orgasm occurs simultaneously. It is a sweet and holy act that is fulfilling. It is ecstatic. No words can explain that. Before they have a union, they have eyes and ears only for each other. They have a longing for each other, a deep desire. So they are drawn towards each other.
So don't be dismayed/appalled when Christ calls the Church His Bride. The Church, His bride shall be caught up with Him at the Rapture.


God wants holy communion with us His children, His creation. More than a physical communion of a man and a woman. More than the breaking or eating of bread. More than the drinking of the wine, (of this you shall remember Me) 1 Corinthians 11:26. For God is Spirit and those who worship Him, worship Him in spirit and truth – John 4:20-24.


We should have eyes only for God. We should desire Him as the deer pants for the water brook, so my soul longs for Him. Psalm 42:1-2

When we have shut out everything, our worldly desires, our children, our parents, our relatives, our friends, our jobs, our businesses, our houses, our debts, our fears, our worries, our concerns, our cars, our plans, then we are ready for Him. Since the Lord our God is One, and a jealous God, Exodus
20:4-5. He desires us only for Himself. Then He may approach us when we are ready for Him, and have sweet communion. And have sweet fellowship. It is ecstatic, beyond words, beyond description. True ecstasy was designed in heaven. Since we are in our natural and carnal form, ecstasy is for a moment.  ...now we can see in part...then we will see in full. (1 Corinthians. 13:10, 12)

However, we cannot forget the moment, that experience! It is indelibly marked in our memories, in our psyche. It is like a laser image, not erasable. The more we make ourselves available to God, the more He will reveal Himself to us. … if you seek me with all your heart, then you shall find Me...Deuteronomy 4:29, Jeremiah 29:13. The more He will show us who he truly is, the Truth, the Life and the Way, John 14:6. The more we will come to know Him. The more we will desire to be like Him. The more we will see and know God as Abba, our Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, here on earth as it is in heaven...Matthew 6:9. All the saints casting down their golden crowns and the angels bow down a worship Him…Isaiah 6:3. Hymn: Holy, Holy, Holy...


God will delight in us. He will shower us with His blessings. Abraham, David, Solomon, the nameless women and others. Since He loved us before we loved Him, John 3:16, how much more will he love us when we know Him?

Repentance Has Cleansing Power Unlike A Sponge Or Stone

Confession of sin to God, Our Father, and repenting, we bathe in the blood of Jesus Christ. Have you ever spent two or more days without taking a shower or a bath? Say it is summer time and the heat wave is on? Think about it. That is how we are spiritually in the eyes of God. We become so dirty, so unholy that our spirit smells from a distance so that we cannot approach the Holy God. What is surprising, this unholiness, this spiritual dirt is not visible to the natural or naked eye! You may see a good looking man well dressed and well shaven with good smelling after shave, cologne, but deep inside, he may be smelly and rotting! Likewise you may see a beautiful woman and well dressed with perhaps the right make up, right hairstyle and even jewelry. But she may be smelly and rotting inside! That tells you and  that it is quite difficult to know a person's spiritual state just from seeing them. Sometimes you may talk to them and then find out their spiritual state from the language and words they use.

Sometimes it is so obvious for a person's dirt and it is visible to everyone. Dark spots settle on your body wherever there is a folding. Sometimes the stench that is coming from a man or woman is so much that everyone else gets as far away from them. I take buses everyday in Southern California, but there is a certain bus route that has smelly buses because of many homeless, dirty people and drunk people who get on it. Day in, day out, these buses are so smelly, you just have to hold your breath and pray for the end of the route - 25 - 30 minutes!

Sometime we may not even know that there is a smell coming off our bodies, until someone lets us know! my dear Grandmother, Manjeri Mwagale, would say sometimes in my teens that Jessica, today you have a bad smell coming from you. She would ask me to wash my body thoroughly. She recommended some herbs that purge away the smell when used as soap. Remember David in Psalm 51 asked God to purge him with hyssop (Ezov in Hebrew). Until one washes off the dirt with soap and water, perhaps and a sponge or a stone, then cleanliness sets in. While you are taking a bath or shower, you may see so much dirt off your body. I have often wondered about this. Why is this dirt not so visible many times? 

Confession and repentance is needed daily and as often as we realize sin. We wash our hands every time after the bathroom, after contamination, and every before a meal so that we are clean. 

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

It is only God, our Father, Most Holy who can show us the spiritual dirt that we cannot see in our lives. Since He is Holy, as we approach Him, our unholiness is magnified, and we can only get near to Him when we confess our sins, repent and ask for His forgiveness.

Give Careful Thought To Your Ways

5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."
7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD. 9 "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands." (Haggai 1)

God asked His people how they could live in luxury when His house was lying in ruins. The temple was the focal point of Judah's relationship with God, but it was still demolished. Instead of rebuilding the temple, the people put their energies into beautifying their own homes. However, the harder the people worked for themselves, the less they had, because they ignored their spiritual lives. The same happens to us. Many of us have had some of the American dream, bought homes in mortgage, bought cars on notes, some are paid off, have or have had good jobs, brought our husbands, our wives, our children, our sisters, our brothers, our cousins, our relatives, our friends, our parents here. Many have found wives and husbands here. Many have given birth to children who are automatically American and European citizens. Some of us even have American names. Some have American and European citizenship and green cards.

If we put God first, he will provide our for our deepest needs. If we put Him in any other place, all our efforts will be futile. Caring only for our physical needs while ignoring your relationship with God will lead to ruin.
Because the people had not given God first place in their lives, their world was not fruitful or productive, and their material posessions did not satisfy. While they concentrated on building and beautifying their own homes, God's blessing was withheld because they no longer put Him in first place. Moses had predicted that this would be the result if the people neglected God.
(Deut. 28:38-45)
However, some of these blessings have blown away with the wind! Mortgaged houses have been foreclosed or returned to banks. Cars have been reposessed or returned to banks. Accidents have ruined cars. Money sent to Uganda to build houses has been mismanaged, mishandled and stolen by those you trusted! Today you have a good job and earn well. Tomorrow you don't have a job and you eat up all your savings! Businesses and organisations have been founded and folded under! In Kampala/Buganda your land is being grabbed by thugs or other!

Give careful thought to your ways. Reconsider the way you live.

What is Holy Living?

Many Christians are so much buried in pornography for they think that they re learning about sex to help in their marriages. Of course, it is true that many married Christians don’t have much knowledge about sex. However, they are going to the wrong source to get the knowledge. These pornographic movies/ films are deeply embedded, deeply founded, deeply entrenched, founded on sexual orgies rooted in the sin of adultery and fornication. There is no love in this, only hate. No love for the human beginnings one has sex with. They call it making love, but it is counterfeit. There is no respect for a person, only being used. There is no satisfaction, for the demons and evil spirits and entities behind them are never satisfied. So pornography as licensed by nations has resulted in heinous murders many of them after violent rapes, child pornography has escalated, perverted sexual practices are on the rise. You name it.
